Advising, monitoring, and supporting our day-to-day operations is only half the story. Your specialisation can take you far here – from the reach of our international capacity for new energy to the ebb and flow of human power and communications. With your expertise, we’re always on track.

  • With a sharp focus for details, you’ll keep RWE moving from quarter to quarter, preparing our financial statements and monitoring performance indicators. You’ll also get to know our stakeholder and create tailored data for them – helping lay out the information we need to transform the energy industry. Exciting energy projects are also within your scope as we rely on accounting-related support for operational projects and accounting-related SAP systems to support our growth strategies.

  • Working in communications at RWE is an impact-driven job. You feel the effects of your work every day – major media coverage, engaging social media posts or by keeping tens of thousands of employees informed. We live the principle of integrated communication. So, it’s about orchestrating the different tools in a communicator’s kit, such as Media Relations, PR, Political Affairs, Digital and Internal Communications. Moving to a sustainable energy system is a global challenge and RWE is a driver of the energy transition. And this is exactly how communication works at RWE – thinking internationally and working together across different continents and countries, united in shaping the way we talk about the future of energy.

  • At RWE, you will gain exciting and in-depth insights into the Group's financial situation. You play a central role in planning and optimizing the financial health and future of the Group – you identify trends, uncover opportunities and manage risks. This work is interdisciplinary, because Controlling requires cooperation with different departments, which makes the work varied and interactive.

  • As the real estate service provider of the RWE Group, our facilities team operates worldwide and offers a wide range of property management services. You’ll have a direct impact on the daily life of all RWE employees, from management of our locations to the design and functionality of our spaces. Whether you take an active role with our forestry division for environmental compatibility and protecting natural resources, or office conceptualisation and catering support – Facilities shapes the face and experience of RWE around the world.

  • Financing the energy transition: a fantastic mission. On the Finance team, you will be responsible for financing our Growing Green Strategy and for securing the liquidity for the whole RWE Group. In addition we are managing RWE´s credit rating, all financial risks and payments around the world. As a centralized team we collaborate with all relevant functions. With training and development opportunities (incl. AI), you’ll be able to see the impact of your work almost immediately.

  • This team is vital in our Growing Green Strategy and plays a key role in the energy transition. Being part of HR requires a love of finding solutions, as well as the confidence to shape, contribute and drive different topics, that ensures our employees globally thrive and feel part of #TeamRWE.

    Human Resources collaborates across the RWE Group as a single team, spanning different operating companies and locations, but there will also be specific topics to focus on and a need for targeted solutions depending on where you are within the company. Natural analytical thinkers with strong communication skills will excel in these roles.

    Everyone contributes to delivering our employer brand as we grow and become even more international, so you’ll help communicate who we are to both candidates, new recruits, and established employees.

  • Within this department, you’ll act as the Driver of Group-wide safety and risk control topics for the Board. Security is priority and it takes several forms. Cyber Security is centrally managed for the RWE Group worldwide, ensuring robust barriers and safeguards within RWE, while also monitoring security across the Group, defining its requirements and coordinating how any critical security incidents are handled.

    Physical Security entails setting and securing the Group’s values, assets, processes and employees. In this role, you’ll ensure that the company is prepared and responsive to critical situations and other challenges. This team is responsible for delivering services for the entire RWE value chain worldwide and all companies within the RWE Group.

    Internal Audit works to strengthen RWE’s resilience so that the company can adequately react to challenges. You’ll actively support RWE's "Growing Green" strategy by providing independent audit services for RWE in continuously improving business processes, delivering audit coverage for all the companies within the RWE Group. Working in teams according to expertise, you’ll work in a project format conducting audits for Finance, IT/OT, HR, Commercial and Technical/Engineering.

  • As the interface to the capital markets, Investor Relations functions are responsible for all communication activities with equity and bond investors. This team creates quarterly earnings events and meets investors and analysts at both physical and virtual roadshows and conferences. In this role, you’ll also provide valuable insights and perspectives of the capital market for RWE strategy and performance.

  • At RWE Legal, we work at a high professional level in interdisciplinary and international teams on exciting and challenging projects to realise the energy transition. With top training and active, award-winning career development, you’ll advise on all legal topics related to renewable energy such as offshore & onshore wind, solar energy, flexible generation, storage technologies, hydrogen projects and energy trading. As part of this dynamic and diverse international team you can help make our energy projects happen in a work-life balanced environment.

  • At RWE, we provide comprehensive procurement services to optimize business processes. Our expertise covers direct, indirect, and strategic procurement, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

    • Direct Procurement: We source essential goods and materials, negotiating with trusted suppliers to secure high-quality items at the best prices, ensuring smooth operations. We also handle spare parts and service contracts.
    • Indirect Procurement: We manage non-production procurement, from office supplies to IT services, aiming to reduce costs and boost efficiency.
    • Strategic Procurement: Utilizing data-driven insights, we develop strategies that align with your business goals, maximize value, foster supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement.
  • This team looks after the regulatory conditions for the success of RWE's Growth Strategy. This comprises all markets and all technologies RWE invests in - from flexible power to Renewables. Here regulatory affairs develops institutional and legal conditions that are needed for RWE's investments.

    Our conceptual work goes far beyond current regulatory and legislative periods. This is why we work closely with the Innovation and System Transformation department in a joint think tank. You will work on the regulatory framework that shapes the way to net zero and you will be part of the social discourse about solving the energy trilemma (affordability, sustainability and security of supply).

  • The Strategy team sets the overall direction for the company, leading capital allocation processes and working with the AG Board to take on key strategic projects for the RWE Group. On this high performing team, you’ll have the opportunity to take in a bird’s eye view of the entire RWE Group, while also leading specific projects that work closely with our operating companies.

    Our Sustainability team sits at the centre of RWE’s overall strategy – overseeing all non-financial reporting across the Group and leading in priority fields such as climate, biodiversity and circular economies. A role in Sustainability will allow you to connect and learn from a wide range of industry topics, making it a great opportunity for further growth.

  • The Tax team works with their international hubs to manage RWE’s global tax affairs and supports the entire business – from ambitious growth targets for our renewable energies to trading markets around the world. A Tax role means actively and comprehensively helping shape projects, from the initial project idea through to realisation. You’ll ensure that RWE is tax compliant worldwide and help drive innovation by building the tax world of tomorrow through digitalisation projects. Tax at RWE offers a unique connection to offshore wind farms, solar farming and hydrogen plants.
