In a world focused on sustainability and climate action, we are searching for engaged students who are willing to confront future challenges and participate in the effort toward energy transition. Join #TeamRWE through our Engineering Placement Programme and discover opportunities for skill development, career advancement, and contributing to the evolution of offshore wind right from the beginning.

  • During your Engineering Placement Programme, you’ll be based in one of our engineering teams such as:

    • Electrical Engineering
    • Technical Safety and Risk Management
    • General Engineering
    • Engineering Support

    Each offers practical experience, typically including site visits and teamwork to support the safety, reliability, and performance of offshore wind farms, giving insight into managing complex offshore energy assets.

    Starting salary £25,000 p.a.
    Working model Hybrid or fully on-site, depending on the team/location

  • Curious and engaged thinkers ready to dive into offshore wind engineering. Gain practical experience and deepen your understanding with us.

    • Currently studying on a degree which includes a placement year, studying Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Marine, or related Engineering degrees 
    • Clear communication skills and confidence to collaborate
    • Organised, able to manage time and meet deadlines
    • Motivated to take initiative and contribute meaningfully
