RWE Generation Hydro GmbH is a subsidiary of RWE Generation SE. The company pools all hydropower plants and hydropower shareholdings in Germany that formerly belonged to innogy. There are 32 hydropower plants with an installed capacity of 376 MW in total. They generate an average of 1.732 GWh of electricity from renewable hydropower annually. Employees of RWE Generation, RWE Power and Schluchseewerk AG operate and maintain these power stations.
