RWE successfully issues its third US dollar green bond, further expanding its presence in the US debt capital market

Peter Krembel, Chairman of the Management Board of RWE Supply & Trading GmbH, will retire and leave the company at the end of February 2027 after more than 27 years with RWE. Jacob Meins, currently Chief Commercial Officer (Origination), has been appointed as his successor as Chairman of the Management Board with effect from 1 March 2027. At the same time, Simon Holl, currently Head of Asia Pacific & Gas Trading and Analysis, will take responsibility for the trading business and join the Management Board of RWE Supply & Trading as Chief Commercial Officer (Trading).
Peter Krembel has been a member of the Management Board since 2015, initially serving as Chief Commercial Officer (Trading) before becoming Chairman in March 2024. Prior to that, he was responsible for global power and gas trading. He began his professional career at an international investment bank before joining RWE in 1999.

Jacob Meins has been a member of the Management Board of RWE Supply & Trading as Chief Commercial Officer (Origination) since January 2024. He began his career in energy trading in 2000, including roles at Enron and Barclays Capital, before joining RWE in 2006. As Chairman of the Management Board, he will continue to retain responsibility for the global gas and LNG business.
Simon Holl began his career at RWE Supply & Trading as a graduate in 2009. After roles in fuel trading in the UK, he played a key role in building RWE’s trading activities in Asia from Singapore starting in 2013. Since 2023, he has headed the Asia Pacific & Gas Trading and Analysis business from Essen.
Ulf Kerstin, Holger Himmel and Ingmar Ritzenhofen will continue in their current roles on the Management Board of RWE Supply & Trading.
