Sandra Dettmer is joining the Management Board of RWE Renewables Europe & Australia

Essen, 11 March 2026

Sandra Dettmer will take on the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) on the Management Board of RWE Renewables Europe & Australia GmbH on 1 April. This move will enable RWE to place even greater management focus on the growing number of onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects under construction and in operation in Europe and Australia. Dettmer's future responsibilities at RWE Renewables Europe & Australia will include Engineering, Construction and Operation of wind, solar and battery parks, as well as HSE. Sandra Dettmer joins CEO Sopna Sury and CFO Simon Bockmühl on the management board. Dettmer was most recently Director of Construction at RWE Renewables Europe & Australia.
