Disclaimer
Deloitte GmbH Wirtschaftsprüfungsgesellschaft ("Deloitte") was engaged by RWE Aktiengesellschaft ("Client") for the limited assurance engagement in accordance with the International Standard on Assurance Engagements (ISAE) 3000 (Revised) for the separate ESG-KPI-report („Engangement“).
The Client has requested Deloitte's consent to forward the ESG-KPI-report of 27.02.2026 ("Report") to potential recipients (in particular the financial market).
Deloitte grants this consent on the condition that the potential recipients accept the following provisions by activating the button below ("We agree to the disclaimer"):
- The Engagement was carried out solely for the Client and not with regard to the possible interests of third parties; the information is not intended to be passed on to third parties.
- Deloitte assumes no responsibility to us that the information is accurate, complete and suitable or sufficient for our purposes. It is solely our responsibility to supplement or verify the information through our own investigations. If we decide to rely on the information, we do so entirely at our own risk.
- Deloitte's liability to us in connection with the disclosure of the Information is excluded. We agree that Deloitte shall not be liable to us under any contract (including, without limitation, a contract to provide information) or quasi-contractual basis for any claim, or otherwise liable to compensate us for any loss, damage or expense whatsoever (other than loss of life, personal injury or damage to health) arising from our reliance on the Information. Deloitte's liability for wilful misconduct remains unaffected.
- Please note that the Engagement was finalised on the date the Report was issued. Consequently, events occurring after the respective date have not been included in the information.
- We will keep the information strictly confidential unless required to disclose it by law, regulation or court or governmental order. We will use the information solely for our purposes in connection with our activities described in the first paragraph and will refrain from referring to the source of the information.
- We undertake to indemnify Deloitte on first demand against all claims and costs arising from a breach of this confidentiality obligation by us or from the disclosure of the information to us.
- Amendments and supplements to this agreement must be made in writing. This also applies to any agreement to waive the written form requirement.
- This agreement is subject to German law to the exclusion of international private law. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Düsseldorf.
