The Role
We currently have a new opportunity for an experienced Team Assistant to the Development UK team for RWE Onshore, Solar and Storage.
Responsibilities
You will act as a liaison between the leadership, their teams and people within the organisation as well as with their external stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:
- organising and maintaining the executive’s diary to include screening enquiries and requests for meetings,
- arranging travel and accommodation,
- managing related expenses for the executives,
- dealing with incoming email and post, often corresponding on behalf of the executive,
- meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority,
- assisting the manager in preparing for meetings,
- assisting in the organisation of team events, offsites, workshops and/or conferences.
- liaising with clients, suppliers and other staff
- processing purchase orders and invoices in SAP
In addition to supporting managers, their team and departments, you will also have your own personal workload and responsibilities.
Requirements
In addition to relevant experience and secretarial and administrative knowledge, you'll need to show evidence of the following:
- excellent written and oral communication skills,
- excellent word processing and IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages,
- the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines,
- excellent organisational and time management skills,
- the ability to and present material clearly and concisely,
- excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in hybrid / geographically disperse teams
- the ability to work on your own initiative,
- attention to detail,
- flexibility and adaptability to juggle a range of different tasks, and
- discretion and an understanding of confidentiality issues
- experience working with MS Office and SAP
