We believe that learning takes place primarily through practical experience in day-to-day work.

In addition, we offer a space for dialogue with colleagues and experts as well as targeted training opportunities. In this way, we create an environment in which you can continuously develop.

  • Professional onboarding is particularly important to us so that you feel like a valued member of #TeamRWE from the moment you sign your contract and can settle into your new role as quickly as possible. Your onboarding is individually tailored to your level of experience and considers your new role and the requirements of the RWE company where you are starting.

  • Your individual development plan is a tool for thinking about, planning and communicating your personal development path. Together with your manager and the support of colleagues from the HR department, your personal development plan is created. This requires a clear understanding of the status quo, realistic and specific goals and concrete measures to achieve them.

  • In order to develop all employees in line with our corporate strategy, our RWE training portfolio includes programmes for employees and managers. These include learning-near-the-job measures such as 360° feedback, mentoring and (peer) coaching as well as learning-on-the-job measures by expanding your tasks through project work and job discovery through secondments or job rotation – customised to your individual needs.

    We also offer you flexible learning formats such as web-based training, e-learning programmes and seminars on topics that you can apply directly in your day-to-day work – such as digital tools, time management, communication or agile working methods.

    The mental and physical health of our employees is an integral component of successfully coping with the challenging demands of today's working world. For this reason, RWE also offers you formats to familiarise yourself with and implement the various options for creating a healthy working day. Here, the focus is on mental, social and physical health and formats are offered on healthy eating, exercise and stress management.
