RWE’s Swedish Wind Business Joins ANEO

RWE has transferred its Swedish wind activities – including operational assets, the development pipeline, and dedicated teams – to Aneo, a Nordic renewables leader. This change affects both our onshore and offshore wind projects in Sweden.

Since April 2026, RWE’s Swedish wind activities have been part of Aneo. The sale included RWE’s entire Swedish onshore wind portfolio (124 MW in operation), a 1.8 GW development pipeline, the operational Karehamn offshore wind farm (48 MW), as well as selected service operations and project teams. Aneo is committed to strengthening renewable energy in Sweden, supporting local communities, and continuing the development and operation of Swedish wind projects for a sustainable future.

While our strategic focus is now directed towards other dynamic markets, we are proud to see our Swedish team and projects continue their journey under Aneo’s ownership.
