RWE, a global leader in renewable energy, has signed an eight-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Carlsberg Sverige, one of Sweden’s largest beverage companies. Under the terms of the agreement, Carlsberg will source electricity produced from the nearby Örken onshore wind farm to power its brewery in Falkenberg, Halland.

Under this agreement, Co-op will source electricity produced from the Gwynt y Môr offshore wind farm to help power its estate, including food stores, distribution centres and funeralcare homes across the UK. RWE will supply Co-op with a total volume of 33 gigawatt hours (GWh) of clean electricity annually – which is enough to power the equivalent of around 140 Co-op food stores a year, equal to 12,200 homes.

We’re happy to announce that we have signed a PPA with the French pharmaceutical group Sanofi. This 20-year contract, which became effective in early 2025, covers 21 GWh per year. The electricity will be generated by the three turbines of the “Chemin de Châlons 1” wind farm in the Marne region, with a total capacity of 9 MW.

We are happy to share that we have signed a landmark 10 year PPA with 5 independent retail co-operatives to supply electricity from renewable energy sources to over 400 locations across the UK. Starting the 1st of April 2025, the long-term contract will provide up to 53 gigawatt hours (GWh) of green electricity per year, enough to power over 400 retail stores, funeral homes, travel agents and more.

We’re excited to announce that RWE has signed a long-term PPA with Telehouse Europe, a leading global data centre provider. RWE will supply renewable energy to Telehouse’s London Docklands campus, Europe’s most connected data centre hub, until the end of 2035. The electricity will be supplied by the London Array offshore wind farm located in the outer Thames Estuary.
