The Supervisory Board of RWE AG has extended the contract of Katja van Doren (59) as a member of the company’s Executive Board ahead of time by a further three years. Her
mandate will thus end at the end of July 2029, when she reaches the age limit set by the Supervisory Board for all Executive Board members. Katja van Doren has been with the RWE Group since 1999. Since 2014, she has carried out various Board functions within the company. Since 2023, she has held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) on the Executive Board of RWE AG. In addition to HR and corporate transformation, her portfolio of responsibilities on the Board includes IT, internal auditing and security.
Dr Frank Appel, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of RWE AG: “Katja van Doren does excellent work as a Board member of this company. The fact that RWE is perceived as an attractive employer internationally is in part thanks to her. This also goes for her work both as CHRO as well as her other responsibilities for IT, internal auditing and security. The Supervisory Board is looking forward to continuing to work with van Doren in a spirit of trust and constructive collaboration in the coming years.”
