In order to reduce emissions and relieve the environment, Sulphur dioxide can be removed from the flue gas of a power plant using technical measures by almost 98%. This process is called flue gas desulfurization (FGD) and is designed to remove sulfur compounds (SO₂ and SO3) and other acid gases from the flue gases. These Sulphur compounds are produced during the combustion of Sulphur-containing fossil fuels such as coal, natural gas or crude oil.
RWETI is currently working with several companies on an environmental improvement project and provides engineering and project management services. Our consulting services will ensure the fulfilment of necessary requirements for the construction of such a FGD plant. The provision of specific services includes the complete supervision of the design and of complete equipment, elements, spare parts, materials, special tools, execution of all assembly and construction work, commissioning as well as warranty tests. Additionally, the client is supported in the permitting procedure.
